In another post on another board people were sharing thoughts on where the expression "doubles" and "triples" begin. I know some people are adimant one way or the other, here is my two cents from what my experience has been over a lot of years.

Hi Rich, As aways, I appreciate your comments and encouragement. I'm still bummed I won't be able to enjoy your Kenton Christmas, but I hope lots of folks check it out. Keep groovin' higher, man! Blaine
Hi Rich,
Thanks for the comments, I really dig your Groovin Higher clip. You have a nice "Vizzuti-Hannah/Barbara" style to your lead playing---very cool. The Northwest is often overlooked as a place for top players, I spent several years in the Portland/Seattle area and know there are monsters other than Bigfoot around. You are definatly one of them. One of my first brass teachers was at Mt. Hood---Dick Shear, formerly with the Kenton Orchestra on trombone. Anyway, great sounds!

Thanks for the kind words, Rich. I got a couple of invites to join, but this time of year is extraordinarily busy for me. We're almost done for the year, though! I do look forward to learning the ropes here. Peace, man! -->>Nick
