About Me:
Been playing for about 9 years now. I attend Berklee College of Music and absolutely love it their. I have a few bands, funk, small group, big band and small orchestra and play in alot of bands around boston and my home town in australia, perth.

I play NYTC instruments exclusively. Currently a Anton Possegger Signature model. I use Monette mouthpieces exclusively, at the moment, stc-3 B2 Prana 88, and a stc-3 B2 FL Prana for darker work.

The Accumulated Gestures

As of May, I have been working with a new 6 piece funk/soul band playing originals and stevie wonder / d'angelo / Curtis Mayfield, type stuff. We are beginning to play around Perth, Australia. Alex...I use the Stage 1 California light with the Rose Brass bell. (squared tuning slide..I just like the slotting better with it). Mouthpieces...I use either a GR 66M w/T-72 backbore or to kick it up another notch, a 66Primal w/T-72. I continue to be amazed at the great blow and tuning of this trumpet. The sound? wow. Not only is it so fat an powerful, but playing "softly" is such a breeze (this from a former Bach Lg bore guy). I'm having a ball.
